Integrated Care Centre - Care Network
The Integrated Care Centre (CAI), situated in Tejarcillos, Alajuelita, was established in June 2016 in an area with high poverty and crime rates.
This Centre is part of the National Care Network Programme where we provide a safe space for children aged 0 to 12 years to receive nourishment, early stimulation, education, and recreational activities while their mothers - mostly single parents – are at work.
As part of the Care Network, we provide informative talks and training workshops to the community, aimed at parents, with the aim of encouraging and improving respectful parenting skills for children
Nutritional Support
Each day, we ensure that 116 boys and girls receive four nutritious meals.
Early Stimulation & Education
Through the generosity of local donors, our children receive school supplies and uniforms annually for the start of the academic term.
The National Care Network Programme
The National Care Network Programme offers educational talks and training workshops to the community, aimed at parents, with the goal of encouraging and improving the skills necessary for respectful child-rearing.
